How to get here:

By car: From Dundee city centre, head towards Broughty Ferry Road (A930) and continue in the direction of the Port of Dundee / Dock Street area. When approaching the South Baffin Street junction, look out for access into the Market Street / Market Mews area nearby. Dundee Museum of Transport is located at Unit 10, Market Mews.

There are a number of nearby city centre car parks within a short walking distance of the museum.

By bus: The nearest bus stops are located on Broughty Ferry Road, close to the South Baffin Street junction. Xplore Dundee services 5 and 5a are recommended for reaching the museum, followed by a short walk to Market Mews.

 

By train: The museum is within walking distance of Dundee Railway Station. From the station, head into the city centre and continue towards Market Street / High Street.

Facilities

Transport-themed displays featuring vehicles and objects from Dundee’s motoring heritage. There is also a gift shop with transport-related items and souvenirs.

Top tip

Give yourself plenty of time - there is far more to see than you might expect, and it’s a brilliant place to properly explore at your own pace.
