University of Dundee climbs into UK top 20 in latest university rankings
The University of Dundee has climbed into the top 20 universities in the UK in the latest national university rankings.
Dundee has been ranked 20th in the 2027 edition of The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, rising three places from its previous position.
The guide assesses 130 universities from across the UK, with the latest result continuing a strong year for Dundee across several major university league tables.
The University of Dundee has now been ranked 12th in the Daily Mail University Guide, 20th in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, 21st in The Guardian University Guide and 25th in the Complete University Guide.
It means Dundee has secured a place within the UK’s top 25 across all four of the major rankings published for 2027.
The latest rise also follows news earlier this month that Dundee had climbed into the top 25 of The Guardian University Guide, moving up 30 places from 51st to 21st.
The results provide another boost for the University of Dundee and further strengthen the city’s presence within the UK’s higher education rankings.
