Popular Dundee food outlet The Topped Tattie is moving to Caird Avenue

A popular Dundee food spot known for putting a modern twist on a classic comfort dish is preparing for its next chapter in the city.

The Topped Tattie has announced that it will be moving from its current pop-up at Mains Castle to a new location on Caird Avenue.

The takeaway first launched in May last year and quickly built a following thanks to its simple but standout concept.

Focusing on baked potatoes, The Topped Tattie has turned the traditional “tattie” into a gourmet experience, offering a wide range of loaded toppings and creative combinations.

Customers have been able to choose from options including macaroni cheese, beef meatballs, and a variety of house specials that bring bold flavours to the classic dish.

This approach has helped the business stand out in Dundee’s growing food scene, offering something both familiar and different at the same time.

The move to Caird Avenue marks a significant step forward for the business after its successful run as a pop-up. While the Mains Castle location helped introduce the concept to customers, the new premises is expected to give The Topped Tattie more space to grow and reach even more people.
