Italian jewellery brand Nomination is set to bring a fresh sparkle to Dundee with the opening of a new concept store in the city’s Overgate.
The company, known for its popular charm bracelets and sleek Italian designs, has submitted a building warrant application to Dundee City Council for the fit-out of a vacant unit on the upper floor of the mall, next to Chopstix.
The planned opening follows the recent arrival of Fraser’s, which opened its doors in the Overgate just last month. The addition of Nomination is expected to further strengthen the shopping centre’s offering, attracting more visitors to the heart of the city.
According to the submitted documents, the new store will undergo a full interior refit, transforming the empty unit into a stylish space that reflects Nomination’s modern branding.
Shoppers can expect elegant display units, contemporary furnishings, and a layout designed to showcase the full range of Nomination jewellery, including its well-known Composable charm collection.
Concept stores typically offer a more immersive shopping experience, with carefully curated products and features that go beyond traditional retail.
The Dundee store is expected to reflect this approach, combining Nomination’s Italian craftsmanship with a boutique-style environment.
The move marks a significant step for Nomination as it expands its direct presence in the UK market.
While the brand is already stocked in a number of jewellers nationwide, standalone stores remain limited, making Dundee one of the few cities in the country to have a dedicated Nomination shop.
