Dundee is in for a retro revival like no other as 80s legend, actor, and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp prepares to bring his celebrated ‘Back to the 80s’ DJ party to the city’s newest and most dynamic venue—LIVEHOUSE.
Taking place on Saturday 14 June from 7pm up until midnight, the event will transport fans straight into the heart of the decade that brought us leg warmers, neon lights, and some of the greatest pop anthems of all time.
With Kemp at the decks, audiences can expect a high-energy set packed with hits from icons like Duran Duran, Chaka Khan, George Michael, Madonna, Culture Club, and of course, Spandau Ballet.
Known for his electric presence and deep-rooted love for 80s music, Kemp has taken this show across the UK to sold-out crowds, and Dundee is next in line to experience the magic.
The production promises big visuals, booming sound, and a euphoric atmosphere that will have the crowd singing and dancing from the first beat to the final track.
LIVEHOUSE, which opened on Friday last week with Craig Charles, already turning heads for its modern design and immersive experiences, will provide the perfect backdrop for a night filled with nostalgia, celebration, and pure party vibes.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best 80s attire and prepare to lose themselves in a wave of throwback hits and glittering memories.
Whether you’re reliving your youth or discovering the music that defined a generation, ‘Back to the 80s’ with Martin Kemp is shaping up to be one of the most exciting nights in Dundee’s live events calendar.
