The Tay Dolphins have finally have their names after a competition which was open to the public garnered wide attention.
Meet Dooker, Haar and Brochtie, the newest dolphins in toon!
The Tay Dolphins are the work of Fanny Lam Christie who had worked with the University of St Andrews in making sure that the dolphins were depicted accurately.
Dooker, Haar and Brochtie are modelled on three real bottlenose dolphins that frequently visit the Tay.
The names of the dolphins were revealed during an event held this morning at a free event hosted at the Castle Green.
Fanny Lam Christie along with researchers from the University of St. Andrews decided the winner.
