Hannah Laing has announced that an additional 2,000 tickets for Doof in the Park will go on sale this Friday after overwhelming demand for the Dundee festival.

The event, set to take place at Camperdown Park, sold out rapidly in advance, with a growing waiting list prompting organisers to explore options to increase capacity safely.

The Dundonian DJ confirmed that the festival site layout has been reworked in close collaboration with the site safety team, allowing more fans to attend without compromising the experience. Camperdown Park’s scale and open setting made it possible to extend capacity while maintaining safety standards.

Laing shared that demand for the event has been “crazy” since tickets first went on sale, with interest continuing to grow in recent weeks.

The additional tickets are expected to be highly sought after, following the speed at which the original allocation sold out.

The extra 2,000 tickets will be released at 9am on Friday, giving more people the chance to attend one of Dundee’s biggest music events of the year. The announcement comes just ahead of the full festival line-up being revealed tomorrow.

Doof in the Park has quickly become a standout date in Dundee’s events calendar, attracting dance music fans from across the city and beyond.

Hosting the event at Camperdown Park has helped cement its status as a major outdoor festival for the region.

With tickets expected to sell fast once again, organisers are encouraging those interested to be ready when sales open on Friday morning.
