The Dundee Contemporary Arts are eagerly anticipating the prestigious Art Fund Museum of the Year award ceremony, set to take place in London tonight.
The contemporary arts venue, which is situated in the Nethergate, is the only Scottish finalist and is in the final with Craven Museum in Skipton, the Manchester Museum, the National Portrait Gallery in London and Young V&A in Bethnal Green.
Dundee is the only major Scottish city not to have a venue receive the award, and the DCA is the third venue from Dundee to make it to the final after the RRS Discovery in 2003, and the V&A Dundee in 2019.
As the countdown to tonight's ceremony draws to a close, the excitement and anticipation within the DCA community continue to build.
The entire team is poised on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the moment when the winner of the Art Fund Museum of the Year award will be revealed, with hopes high for a historic victory that would cement the DCA's legacy in the annals of Scottish cultural heritage.
