Voting opens in Chamber Champion Awards as support sought for Dundee Culture founder

Voting has officially opened in the 2026 Chamber Champion Awards, with members of the public now able to support finalists across a range of categories until the end of July.

Among those in the running is Dundee Culture founder Andrew Batchelor, who has been shortlisted in the Impact Individual category. Public voting is now open and will help determine this year’s winners ahead of the awards ceremony.

The Chamber Champion Awards celebrate the people, businesses and organisations making a positive contribution across Dundee and Angus, recognising achievements in areas including innovation, leadership, community impact and business excellence.

Batchelor is inviting supporters of Dundee Culture to cast their vote, thanking the community that has helped the platform grow over the years.

He said: “Dundee Culture is something I never take for granted. Every like, comment, share, message, story tip and word of encouragement has helped shape the platform into what it is today. This recognition belongs just as much to this amazing community as it does to me.

“Over the years, together we’ve celebrated our city, championed local organisations, helped protect places like Mills Observatory, supported community campaigns and showcased everything that makes Dundee such a fantastic place to call home.

“Being shortlisted means the world, and your support would genuinely mean everything.”

Voters can choose to support finalists in a single category or cast votes across all of the award categories. Public voting remains open until 31 July.
