Students across Dundee receiving their exam results this week have a tasty treat to look forward to – free food from a couple of popular eateries in the city.
Nando’s, located at Camperdown Leisure Park, is giving away a free ¼ chicken or starter to young people picking up their Higher or National 5 results on Monday, August 5. The offer is part of their annual Results Day Dash, running from 11am to 11pm.
To claim the freebie, students just need to bring proof of their exam results – no need to spend any money. The deal is aimed at 15 to 19-year-olds, and a similar offer will return for those receiving GCSE and A-Level results in England on August 15 and 22.
Meanwhile, Wagamama on Whitehall Street is also getting involved by offering free food to students. Those who show proof of their results can claim a special treat – though what’s on offer may vary depending on availability.
These deals are available for one day only, so it’s best to take advantage while they last. It’s a small reward for the stress of exam season and a fun way to celebrate the end of school or college with friends.
Students are encouraged to bring along their physical or digital SQA results as evidence, and check with staff before ordering to confirm eligibility.
Whether you’re celebrating or just relieved it’s over, free food is one way to mark the occasion in style.
