A new chapter begins at The Newport this weekend as the popular venue officially reopens its doors.
The restaurant is now under new management with Beth Jowett taking charge of the popular site in Newport, located across the road bridge from Dundee.
From Saturday 13 September, guests will once again be able to enjoy drinks, views, and live entertainment at the riverside spot.

With balconies overlooking the Tay, the bar offers a scenic setting for visitors looking to unwind.
To celebrate the reopening, Babas Bites food truck will be on site from 1pm to 5pm, serving freshly made dishes.
In the evening, live music will be provided by Andrew Acoustic from 8pm, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The Newport team say they want the venue to feel like a “home away from home” where guests can relax, socialise, and create lasting memories.
The return of The Newport is being welcomed locally as another sign of renewed energy in the city’s hospitality scene.
