Dundee is set to turn up the glamour as the Dundee Burlesque Festival returns for a weekend of sparkle, performance and celebration next week.
Taking place across two venues – Bonar Hall and The Barrells – the festival will run on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, bringing a packed programme of events to the city centre.
Organisers promise a vibrant mix of burlesque-themed activities, with something for both seasoned fans and newcomers alike.
Over the course of the weekend, attendees can explore a variety of stalls, join in on themed workshops and classes, and enjoy live entertainment. Highlights include the “Marvelesque & Friends Community Showcase”, shining a spotlight on local and visiting talent, and a headline burlesque show featuring high-energy performances and dazzling costumes.
The festival aims to celebrate self-expression, body confidence and creativity, with organisers encouraging people of all backgrounds to come along and experience the inclusive atmosphere.
