Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) has been announced as a finalist in this year’s Scottish Charity Awards, with its innovative project Hello in There Wee One shortlisted in the Partnership of the Year category.
The project is a unique collaboration between DCA, NHS Tayside, Dundee City Council, and the University of Dundee, developed to support expectant parents in bonding with their babies during pregnancy.
Designed with both emotional wellbeing and early communication in mind, the initiative highlights the role of the arts in health and community care.
In a statement, the DCA said:

A collaboration of partners from Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA), NHS Tayside, Dundee City Council and University of Dundee worked on this unique project designed to support expectant parents to communicate and bond with their baby before it’s born.”
As part of the awards, DCA is also eligible for the People’s Choice Award, which is decided by public vote. Supporters are encouraged to cast their vote online at: https://tinyurl.com/34tpjyb3
