The Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Museums + Heritage Awards in the Shop of the Year category.

The nomination recognises DCA’s retail space, which offers a carefully curated selection of books, gifts, homeware, and locally crafted products, all reflecting the centre’s commitment to creativity and design.

The DCA shop will compete against a strong lineup of finalists, including:

  • Portsmouth City Council – The D-Day Story D-Day 80 Shop Refit

  • The National Gallery – Bicentenary Year Retail

  • National Football Museum – Shop of the Year

  • The Real Mary King’s Close – Gift Shop

The Museums + Heritage Awards celebrate excellence in the cultural sector, shining a spotlight on the most innovative and impactful projects across museums, galleries, and heritage attractions.

The winners will be announced on 15 May at a glitzy ceremony, and DCA’s shortlisting highlights its continued role as a key cultural hub in Dundee.
