New Dundee street food market is now seeking traders ahead of opening

One of Dundee’s most anticipated food and drink developments is now actively seeking traders ahead of its planned opening later this year.

The new street food market on Brown Street, being developed by the team behind Loom, has issued a public call for street food businesses interested in becoming part of the project when it launches at the end of 2026.

In a post shared by Loom, the team said preparations for the venue are continuing and attention is now turning towards the businesses that will help bring the market to life.

The development is expected to create a new destination for food lovers in Dundee, bringing together a range of independent traders under one roof. While details of the final line-up have yet to be announced, organisers are looking for businesses that can contribute high-quality food, strong branding and a positive atmosphere.

Loom described the project as one of Scotland’s most exciting upcoming street food ventures and is inviting businesses from across the country to get in touch.

Potential traders are being asked to submit a pitch deck outlining their business, what they offer, details of their setup, examples of previous events or trading experience and background information about their company.

Applications will be reviewed over the coming months as the opening date approaches, with organisers compiling a shortlist of potential traders for the new venue.

The Brown Street development has generated significant interest since it was first announced and is expected to become a major addition to Dundee’s growing food and hospitality scene.

Businesses interested in applying can contact the team directly at sam@loomdeli.com.
