Fashion lovers across Dundee are in for a treat this November, as Maggie’s Dundee prepares to open a special pop-up boutique in Broughty Ferry, bringing designer fashion and one-of-a-kind finds together for an incredible cause!

Maggie’s Boutique Dundee will take place from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 November 2026 at Patricia Forbes in Broughty Ferry, with a carefully curated collection of designer clothing, handbags and accessories available to purchase.

The three-day event will raise vital funds for Maggie’s Dundee, which provides free practical, emotional and social support to people affected by cancer, including their families and friends.

And with the boutique opening in just over a week, organisers are encouraging shoppers to book ahead and support this special fundraising initiative.

Designer fashion for a wonderful cause

The boutique will offer a beautiful selection of donated designer and luxury fashion, including timeless pieces, contemporary styles, handbags and accessories.

The event has been organised by volunteers involved with the Maggie’s Dundee Fundraising Board, who have been working to bring the concept to the city for the first time.

As previously reported by Dundee Culture, the project has been inspired by the success of a similar Maggie’s boutique in Edinburgh, which raised more than £140,000 in just four days.

The Dundee team hopes to build on that success, combining a love of fashion with sustainability and charitable giving.

Every penny raised through boutique sales will go towards supporting Maggie’s Dundee and the services it provides to people across the city and Tayside.

Patricia Forbes to host the three-day event

The boutique will be hosted at Patricia Forbes, the well-known Broughty Ferry fashion shop on Brook Street.

Its owner, Karen Charles, has been closely involved in the project, using her experience from more than three decades in the fashion industry to help select and curate the clothing available.

The event comes as Karen prepares to retire after 35 years running the business, making the boutique a particularly special occasion.

Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a range of pre-loved fashion pieces while helping support an organisation that means so much to families across Dundee.

When is Maggie’s Boutique Dundee open?

The pop-up boutique will operate across three days, with the following opening hours:

  • Thursday 5 November: 6pm–8pm

  • Friday 6 November: 10am–6pm

  • Saturday 7 November: 10am–6pm

Location: Patricia Forbes, Brook Street, Broughty Ferry.

Pre-booking is essential, so visitors are encouraged to arrange their attendance before travelling to the boutique.

Further information about booking and the event can be found through Maggie’s Boutique Dundee on Instagram at @maggiesboutiquedundee.

Supporting Maggie’s Dundee

Maggie’s Dundee plays an important role in the local community, offering a welcoming space and free support for people living with cancer and those closest to them.

Fundraising initiatives like the boutique help ensure those services remain available to everyone who needs them.

With Christmas approaching, the event also offers an opportunity to discover a special fashion find while supporting a worthwhile local cause.

Three days of fabulous fashion, sustainable shopping and community generosity - all in support of Maggie’s Dundee!
