Fresh images have been revealed showing the proposed design for the new Kirkton Community Centre in Dundee - and the early visuals look outstanding.
Designed by Jon Frullani Architect, the artist impressions offer a first look at the modern facility that is set to become a new heart of the community.
The release of these visuals comes shortly after a planning application for the new centre was officially submitted to Dundee City Council.
If approved, the development will bring much-needed new facilities to the Kirkton area, giving local residents a vibrant, welcoming space to enjoy.
According to the plans, the new community centre will feature a range of facilities designed to benefit people of all ages and needs.
These include a café for socialising, a hair and beauty unit, a sensory room, and a large multi-purpose hall. The hall is expected to be used for events, classes, meetings and more.
The design of the building is modern and inviting, with a focus on accessibility, comfort and community use. The addition of a sensory room highlights the inclusive approach being taken, ensuring the space can be enjoyed by everyone.
This proposed new centre forms part of wider regeneration efforts across Dundee, with Kirkton identified as a key area for investment.
Local residents and community groups have long called for improved facilities, and this project aims to meet those needs with a space that supports health, wellbeing and social connection.
The public will now await the outcome of the planning process - but if given the go-ahead, Kirkton could soon have a community centre that reflects the pride and energy of the people who live there.
