Dundee’s own Doof in the Park has been nominated for Best Festival at DJ Mag’s prestigious Best of British Awards – a major achievement for the event after just one year.
The news was announced this lunchtime, with organiser Hannah Laing expressing her excitement and disbelief at being recognised so soon after its debut.
The festival, which took place for the first time in July earlier this year at Camperdown Park, has quickly become one of Scotland’s most talked-about music events, bringing together top DJs, local talent and a lively crowd for an unforgettable day of dance and electronic music in the heart of Dundee.
Vote for Doof in the Park
Voting for the DJ Mag Best of British Awards has now opened, giving fans the chance to help Doof in the Park secure the win.
The public can cast their votes until Friday 21 November at 12pm through DJ Mag’s official website.
Doof in the Park’s nomination marks another milestone for Dundee’s thriving music and events scene, proving that the city’s creative energy is being recognised on a national stage.
