Broughty Castle Museum has reopened to the public for the 2026 season, welcoming visitors back to one of Dundee’s most recognisable historic landmarks.
Located on the banks of the River Tay, the castle offers a unique opportunity to explore centuries of history while enjoying some of the best views in the city.
The museum will remain open throughout the spring and summer months, running until October, giving both locals and visitors plenty of time to experience the attraction.
Opening hours run from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, with Sunday opening slightly later at 12.30pm. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
In a major draw for visitors, entry to Broughty Castle Museum remains completely free, making it one of the most accessible cultural experiences in Dundee.
Its reopening also marks the seasonal shift in Dundee’s heritage calendar, with Mills Observatory now closed until October as part of the city’s rotating attraction schedule.
