Dundee’s live music scene is set to come alive with the return of The Gatsby, the Dundee University Big Band’s best-selling show.

The event, scheduled for this Saturday at Bonar Hall, will showcase a night of 1920s-inspired swing, jazz, soul, and dance music performed by a 30-piece ensemble.

Known for its energetic performances and immersive atmosphere, The Gatsby has been a highlight for audiences in previous years.

This year’s show promises to continue that tradition, offering a mix of classic jazz standards and big band arrangements.

The Dundee University Big Band, comprised of student and community musicians, has built a strong reputation for delivering high-energy performances across a range of musical styles.

With a focus on recreating the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, the upcoming event aims to transport attendees back to the golden age of swing.

Doors will open at Bonar Hall on the night of the event, with further details on tickets and timings expected to be released soon.

You can buy your tickets here at the event page here.

It is £8 standard, £6 student, £7 concession and £5 standard.
