There’s something in the air this week – maybe it’s the creativity of hundreds of graduating artists, the buzz of a community celebration, or the sound of music echoing through Caird Hall.
While Dundee Culture usually highlights ten events, there’s simply too much happening in Dundee right now to keep it that short.
From art and food to festivals and live gigs, this week is bursting with things to see, do and discover. Whether you’re into cutting-edge installations, local markets, or chart-topping pop stars, there’s a little bit of magic waiting for you somewhere in the city.

Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design Undergraduate Degree Show 2025
About this event:
The annual Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design Undergraduate Degree Show is back! Discover and celebrate the outstanding work of our graduating students during this nine-day showcase of creativity. This year over 450 graduating students will be showcasing their work in the creative setting of our galleries and studios turning DJCAD into one of the largest free arts venues in the country.

Mella Shaw: Sounding Line
About this event:
Sounding Line is an immersive ceramic installation that explores the devastating effect of marine sound and sonar pollution on whale species. The large-scale sculptural forms are inspired by whales’ inner-ear bones and made using whale bone ash.

Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto
