Xplore Dundee adds 5,000 extra airport journeys between Dundee and Edinburgh Airport this autumn

Getting to Edinburgh Airport from Dundee is about to become even easier, with 5,000 extra journeys being made available this autumn.
Xplore Dundee has announced additional capacity on its FLY airport coach service throughout September and October as it prepares for increased demand during the autumn holiday period.
The direct service connects Dundee with Edinburgh Airport, giving people in the city another option for getting to and from one of Scotland’s busiest airports without having to drive or arrange separate rail and tram connections.
The additional capacity will mean around 5,000 more passenger journeys can be accommodated across the service during the two-month period.
It comes at a particularly busy time for international travel, with the October school holidays and autumn getaway season bringing increased numbers of passengers heading abroad.
FLY has provided Dundee with a direct public transport connection to Edinburgh Airport since launching, with coaches travelling between the city and the airport throughout the day.
For Dundee travellers, the service also removes the need to change transport along the way - passengers can board in Dundee and travel directly to the airport terminal.
The decision to increase capacity during September and October is therefore great news for anyone planning an autumn holiday over the coming weeks.
With thousands of additional journeys now being accommodated, even more Dundonians will have the option of beginning their holiday with a direct coach journey from the city to Edinburgh Airport.
