Work has begun to transform an empty unit on Reform Street into a new Wendy’s restaurant, bringing the American fast-food chain closer to opening its doors in Dundee city centre.
The site, which was most recently occupied by Fridays and Go and Fatburger, has been vacant since the previous businesses closed.
In recent days, new signage featuring the Wendy’s logo has appeared on the building, confirming that preparations for the new restaurant are now underway.

For many in the city, the development marks another step in Dundee attracting major international brands, as the city centre continues to evolve with new businesses moving into prominent locations.
