Verdant Works Museum turns 30 today!
Happy 30th Birthday to the fabulous Verdant Works Museum!
The much-loved Dundee museum opened its doors on 16 September 1996 - exactly 30 years ago today - bringing new life to the historic former jute mill and helping tell the story of the industry that shaped Dundee and generations of its people.
Three decades later, Verdant Works continues to preserve and celebrate an incredibly important part of our city’s history, giving visitors the chance to discover what life was like in Dundee’s jute mills and the stories of the people who worked in them.
A very happy 30th birthday to one of Dundee’s cultural gems!
