Scottish Influencer Awards 2026: Here are the Dundee finalists

Dundee is making its presence felt on the national stage, with a strong group of finalists shortlisted across multiple categories at this year’s Scottish Influencer Awards.
From storytelling and heritage to sport, fashion and travel, the city’s digital voices continue to gain recognition across Scotland.
The final of the awards take place on Sunday 3 May at the Raddison RED in Glasgow.
The last event, hosted in 2024, saw Dundee's Laura Young win the prestigious Influencer of the Year Award.
Here are the Dundonian influencers named finalists for this year's event!
Art and Culture
Dundee is particularly well represented in the Art and Culture category.
Writer and broadcaster Alistair Heather, known online as @historically, has built a loyal following through his engaging content centred around Scottish history, language and identity.
Joining him is Dundee Culture founder Andrew Batchelor, whose platform has become a leading source for news, features and promotion of the city, playing a key role in highlighting Dundee’s culture, events and heritage to a wide audience.
Sport
In the Sport category, Anastasia Vaipan-Law has been recognised following a standout period in her career. Having recently returned from the Winter Olympics, she has been sharing her journey with followers through regular training updates and behind-the-scenes insights on Instagram.
Her content has given audiences a closer look at the dedication required at elite level sport. Anastasia has also recently seen a change in her competitive career following the retirement of her partner Luke Digby, but she is set to continue and remains focused on the next chapter.
Fashion
The Fashion category includes Dundee-based creator Howey Ejegi, whose work reflects a distinctive and evolving style.
Through social media, he has been building a presence that highlights both personal expression and wider trends. Howey recently revealed that he was opening up a new salon in the city which is set to open within the coming months.
Style
Dundee also has a strong showing in the Style category, with two finalists recognised.
Callum Scott, who proudly represents the city, has developed a following that blends fashion, performance and personality.
Alongside him is Folashade Adeyemi, known as @iconicsade, whose content focuses on style, confidence and individuality, resonating with audiences both locally and beyond.
Travel
In the Travel category, Ross Cairney (@my.scottish.journal) and David Honeyman (@scottishmaninavan) have both been shortlisted.
Their content showcases Scotland through different perspectives, from scenic journeys to everyday exploration, encouraging others to discover more of the country.
Ross and David's work continues to highlight the appeal of travel storytelling rooted in authenticity.
The spread of finalists across so many categories highlights the range of talent connected to Dundee’s digital scene. With creators continuing to grow their audiences and influence, the city’s presence at the Scottish Influencer Awards remains as strong as ever.
