Visitors to The McManus will soon be able to enjoy food from one of the region’s most popular independent businesses, with Loom Deli announced as the new sandwich supplier for the museum café.
The new partnership will see Loom Deli’s signature sandwiches available at The McManus Café when it reopens on 3 June following a short closure to prepare for the launch.
Announcing the news on social media, The McManus described the move as “big news” and invited visitors to enjoy Loom Deli’s sandwiches, which are made using locally sourced ingredients and prepared fresh each day.
Loom Deli has become one of Dundee’s best-known food destinations thanks to its freshly prepared sandwiches, quality ingredients and loyal customer base.
The business is also behind The Cheesy Toast Shack in St Andrews, which has built a strong reputation and substantial following for its gourmet toasties and comfort food creations.
The partnership marks an exciting development for the museum café and brings together two well-loved local names.
For many visitors, a trip to The McManus will now come with the added bonus of being able to enjoy food from a business already popular with customers across Dundee and Fife.
The McManus Café has been closed today and will be closed again tomorrow while preparations take place ahead of the relaunch.
Museum staff say they are looking forward to welcoming visitors back when the café reopens on 3 June with its new food offering.
