May 2026 Heatwave: What is the weather like for the week ahead in Dundee


After Dundee recorded its hottest day of the year so far on Monday 25 May with temperatures reaching 24C, the city is set for another largely warm and settled week ahead.


While temperatures are expected to dip slightly compared to Monday’s heat, sunshine and dry conditions are forecast to continue across much of the week, with highs returning to 20C by Friday.


According to the Met Office, Dundee can expect a mix of sunny spells and light cloud over the coming days as the warmer spring weather continues into the final days of May.


Here’s the forecast for the week ahead according to the Met Office:


Tuesday: 🌤️ 17C

Wednesday: 🌤️ 15C

Thursday: ☀️ 19C

Friday: 🌤️ 20C

Saturday: 🌤️ 18C

Sunday: ☁️ 17C


The brighter conditions are expected to continue into next weekend, bringing another run of pleasant weather for the city.
