Greg Sestro is coming back to Dundee for a special screening of The Room

Actor Greg Sestero is set to return to Dundee as part of a special anniversary tour celebrating cult film The Room.

The event, taking place at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) on 3 May, marks 23 years since the film’s original release and promises to bring fans together for a unique screening experience.

Sestro visited Dundee last year for a screening and Q&A for The Room which sold out.

Sestero, who starred alongside Tommy Wiseau in the 2003 film, has become closely associated with its enduring popularity, which has grown significantly over the years.

Often described as one of the most famous cult films ever made, The Room has built a dedicated global following, with live screenings becoming interactive events featuring audience participation.

The Dundee stop will give fans the chance to experience the film in that shared setting, with Sestero’s involvement adding to the occasion.

DCA continues to host a range of special film events, and the anniversary screening is expected to draw interest from both long-time fans and newcomers curious about the phenomenon.
