Dundee has been hilariously spared from Storm Bert warning in new Met Office map

Picture: Met Office

The UK is currently facing strong winds and rain from Storm Bert which prompted weather warnings to be issued by the Met Office - and they hilariously omitted Dundee from the warnings in the new map.

The Met Office released the map on their social media feeds which showed most of Scotland covered in yellow and amber warnings for snow and ice as Storm Bert sweeps through over Scotland and the rest of the UK over the weekend.

Dundee and Glasgow were the only cities spared from the warning, with a slither divide between the two in the shape of a leg and foot was formed within the boundaries of the city.

More details on Storm Bert from the Met Office can be found here.
