Dundee Culture and Dundee Ice Arena have formed a new partnership

Dundee Culture has announced a new partnership with Dundee Ice Arena, marking a new chapter for one of the city’s longest standing and most popular sporting venues.

For 25 years, the arena has played a central role in Dundee’s sporting life, supporting everyone from first time skaters to elite athletes and ice hockey teams.

The Ice Arena is widely regarded as the city’s hub for ice sports, offering a home to both figure skating talent and local ice hockey teams.

Over the years it has become a much loved venue for spectators and the wider community, with a history that continues to grow through dedicated coaching, events and competitions.

As part of the new partnership, Dundee Culture will highlight the activity that goes on behind the scenes at the arena.

This will include features on learn to skate programmes, training sessions, ice hockey development, curling, community activities and the day to day work carried out by staff and volunteers who keep the venue running.

The announcement comes as Dundee Ice Arena launches its brand new website, designed to make booking sessions and events easier for visitors.

The updated site provides clear information on activities, timetables and ticket options, supporting the arena’s aim to make ice sports more accessible to everyone.
