Discovery Point and Verdant Works have lowered ticket prices by introducing new passes for both attractions

Visitors to Discovery Point and Verdant Works can now access tickets at a lower price as Dundee Heritage Trust introduces a new ticket price policy from today (1 April 2025).
The action is to make Dundee's best-rated attractions accessible while continuing to support the conservation of RRS Discovery and Verdant Works.
Previously offering one annual pass, the Trust now has four options to offer visitors greater flexibility.
What are the new passes?
Off-Peak Pass – Entry to either museum during off-peak periods for a year.
Unlimited Pass – Entry to one museum throughout the year, including peak dates.
Explore More Pass – Entry to both museums for a whole year, on any date.
Flexible Family Pass – A new product that will make visits more affordable for families, with unlimited entry to Discovery Point year-round.
Dundee Heritage Trust Commercial Director Ashleigh Pink talked about the change with enthusiasm:
“We are thrilled to announce a reduction in our admission prices at both Discovery Point and Verdant Works, making it easier for everyone to experience the rich history and culture we offer at our award-winning attractions.
Every ticket purchased helps us in our mission to restore our iconic ship – the RRS Discovery – and the Verdant Works mill, allowing us to preserve these vital pieces of our city’s heritage for generations to come.”
The Trust, which derives over 98% of its income from ticket sales, fundraising and retail, is also launching new exhibitions and events this spring.
These are the International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) Exhibition, John Quinn's production From Jute to Joysticks, and a family-friendly visit from Ms. R and Friends tribute show on 13th April.
With its new pricing policy and exciting programme of events, Dundee Heritage Trust is enabling more individuals than ever to connect with the city's rich history.
