Another new market has just been announced for Broughty Castle

A much-loved pet-themed market is set to take place in a new location this autumn.
The Barket, which attracts pet owners and animal lovers from across the area, will now be held at Broughty Castle on Sunday 19 October.
Organisers say the move will allow all traders to be grouped together, creating a better experience for visitors and giving everyone the chance to enjoy the event’s Famous Fun Dog Show. The new setting at the historic castle is expected to add to the atmosphere of the day.
The Barket features a wide range of stalls selling pet-related products, as well as stands run by pet charities. There will also be entertainment and activities for both people and their four-legged friends.
A small number of spaces are still available for traders and charities who would like to take part. Organisers are encouraging anyone selling pet-related goods or representing an animal charity to get in touch as soon as possible.
