Dundee Rep alumnus Alan Cumming has shared a message ahead of the debut of new film Glenrothan, which also stars fellow Scottish actor Brian Cox.
The film marks another major project for both actors, bringing together two well-known names with strong ties to Scotland’s theatre and film scene.
Alan Cumming recorded a special message for Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA), building anticipation ahead of the film’s screening.
His connection to Dundee has remained strong over the years, with his early work at the Rep helping to shape a career that has since spanned film, television and stage on an international level.
Glenrothan is already generating interest, not only for its cast but for its storytelling and Scottish roots, which are expected to resonate with audiences.
The film centres around Donal (played by Cumming) reuniting with his brother Sandy (Cox) after 35 years in the United States, to make amends.
