A pop-up vintage clothing market is opening up in Dundee this weekend

Dundee is set to welcome the UK’s largest vintage clothing sale this weekend as the hugely popular Vintage Superstore event comes to Bonar Hall on Sunday 12 October.

Fashion lovers can grab one-of-a-kind finds and mix and match their favourite styles, all for just £20 per kilo.

Early birds can get first pick of the rails from 11am with a £3 ticket, giving them an exclusive shopping hour before general admission begins at 12pm.

From then onwards, entry costs just £2, with under-12s getting in for free.

Tickets aren’t timed sessions, meaning visitors can browse for as long as they like once inside. For those who miss out on pre-booked slots, walk-ups will still be welcome throughout the day, with stock replenished regularly to keep the selection fresh.

The event promises an enormous range of handpicked vintage and preowned pieces from the 1960s onwards, with nine tonnes of clothing brought to Dundee for the occasion.

Shoppers can expect everything from classic denim and designer labels to statement coats, knitwear, and timeless accessories for both men and women.

Vintage Superstore’s signature ‘pay-by-weight’ system means there’s no minimum or maximum spend.

Items are weighed at the till, and heavier garments like coats or jackets are capped at £20 each, even if they exceed a kilo.

Staff will be on hand throughout the day to help visitors find the best deals and answer questions about pricing and stock.

To keep the event running smoothly, large bags aren’t permitted inside, though clear plastic bags will be available for purchases.

Attendees are encouraged to check items carefully before buying, as all sales are final.

Both cash and card payments will be accepted at the weighing stations, making it easy for shoppers to check out once they’ve filled their bags.
