A new indoor skatepark is set to open its doors in Dundee next month, the Courier reports.
The new skatepark, Passion Park, is set to open in April and will be the first indoor skatepark to open in Dundee in five years following the unfortunate closure of the Factory Skatepark in Douglas.
The Courier report that the new skatepark is set to open on a premises formerly occupied by NG Auto Valet on Gellatly Street after months of delay.
Lewis Allan and Scott Young are behind the new skatepark and have been campaigning for one to open for a long time.
Speaking to the Courier, the pair said:
“Securing planning consent for the fit-out of Passion Park is a massive milestone that fills us with relief."
The Courier also states that the opening date is still yet to be confirmed.
