Wet Wet Wet are set to return to Dundee as part of a major UK tour celebrating 40 years since the release of their debut album Popped In Souled Out.
The band will perform at Caird Hall on 25 February 2027, bringing one of the most recognisable sounds of the late 1980s back to the city.
Tickets for the Dundee date go on sale on 17 April at 10am at Dundee Box Office, with strong demand expected as fans look to relive the band’s early hits alongside later chart-topping favourites.
The Caird Hall show forms part of a wider 40-date UK tour marking four decades since the album that launched Wet Wet Wet onto the global stage.
Released in 1987, Popped In Souled Out became a defining record of its era, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart and spending over 70 weeks in the listings. The album featured standout tracks such as Wishing I Was Lucky, Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes and Temptation, helping establish the band as one of Britain’s biggest pop acts at the time.
For Dundee audiences, the concert offers a chance to experience those songs live in one of the city’s most iconic venues. Caird Hall has long been a key stop for major touring acts, and the return of Wet Wet Wet adds another high-profile event to its calendar.
The current line-up includes founding member Graeme Clark, guitarist Graeme Duffin and lead vocalist Kevin Simm. Together, they continue to perform the band’s classic material while introducing it to a new generation of listeners.
The 2027 tour will feature a mix of tracks from the debut album alongside later hits including With A Little Help From My Friends, Goodnight Girl and Love Is All Around. Special guests will appear across selected dates, adding further variety to what is expected to be a celebratory run of shows.
