V&A Dundee has been named as one of the top museums to visit in the UK, a new list by The Times has revealed.
The Dundee design museum was ranked second and was the only Scottish entry on the list.
With the opening of Garden Futures, the next flagship exhibition at the museum, due to open in May next year, the Times highlighted the exhibition as one of the main reasons to visit next year.
V&A Dundee has had a successful year, with over 30,000 visitors recorded in the last financial year, and the transition to having one major exhibition a year has paid off, with the museum making more profit than the previous financial year.
The V&A Dundee saw an initial boost at the start of the year with the introduction of the Dundee Tapestry at the museum which drew in 50,000 visitors.
The exhibition was so popular, that it returned last month for a second run.
Garden Futures is set to open at the V&A Dundee in May next year.
