Dundee’s new Hotworld Cuisine restaurant takes shape as signage goes up

Work on Dundee’s new world buffet restaurant is continuing to make progress, with fresh signage now appearing on the building.
Hotworld Cuisine, which is set to open at the former Arnold Clark showroom near City Quay, is gradually taking shape as preparations continue for the new restaurant.
The latest development has seen the Hotworld Cuisine name displayed prominently on the outside of the building, giving passers-by another glimpse of what’s coming to the area.
A new restaurant for Dundee
The restaurant will bring a new world buffet dining experience to Dundee, adding another option to the city’s growing food and drink scene.
Its location near City Quay will see the former car showroom given a new purpose, transforming a building previously associated with vehicle sales into a hospitality venue.
The appearance of the new signage is one of the latest visible signs of progress, although further details about the restaurant’s menu, prices and facilities have yet to be confirmed.
When will Hotworld Cuisine open?
Despite the latest developments, an official opening date for Hotworld Cuisine has not yet been announced.
For now, the new signage marks another step forward as work continues on the building.
It’s encouraging to see another business preparing to establish itself in Dundee, particularly with a former commercial property being brought into a new use.
Dundee Culture will continue to follow developments as Hotworld Cuisine moves closer to welcoming its first customers.
