Rising stars The Last Dinner Party are heading to Dundee this autumn for a special one-off performance to mark the launch of their second studio album, From the Pyre.
The highly anticipated event will take place at LIVEHOUSE Dundee on 22 October 2025.
The London-based group, who broke into the UK music scene with their breakout single Nothing Matters, have seen a rapid rise to fame. The song reached the UK top 20 and earned them the coveted BRIT Award for Rising Star. Their debut album Prelude to Ecstasy, released in early 2024, debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and cemented their place as one of Britain’s most exciting new acts.
Their upcoming performance in Dundee is being hosted in partnership with independent music store Assai Records as an exclusive album launch show. Fans attending can expect an intimate 45 to 60-minute set at LIVEHOUSE, Dundee’s new state-of-the-art venue that continues to attract major artists to the city.
Tickets for the event go on sale at 11am on Thursday 31 July, and will be available only through Assai Records. Various album and ticket bundles are available, including CD and vinyl options, ranging from £25 to £64. A very limited number of ticket-only options are available for £21.50. Each ticket will be issued manually via email ahead of the event, and ID will be required on entry.
From the Pyre is due for release on 17 October 2025, just days before the Dundee show. Customers who purchase the album through Assai Records can either have it delivered or collect it in person from their nearest shop, with the Union Street branch in Dundee being the most local.
This launch event is open to fans aged 14 and over, with under 16s required to be accompanied by an adult. Start times are expected to be confirmed closer to the date, but currently the show is set to begin at 7pm.
