The Last Dinner Party and Lucia & The Best Boys to headline huge V&A Dundee After Hours event

V&A Dundee is preparing to transform into a late-night music venue this November, with members of award-winning indie rock band The Last Dinner Party and Scottish band Lucia & The Best Boys headlining a special evening of live music and entertainment.
After Hours: We Can Be Heroes takes place on Friday 6 November, bringing DJ sets, live performances, karaoke, installations and pop-up bars to the waterfront museum.
The one-night-only event follows last year’s sold-out Night Garden and will celebrate the connections between music, fashion and performance, inspired by the museum’s exhibitions David Bowie: On Tour and Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show.
And with tickets now on sale, V&A Dundee has revealed the artists who will be taking centre stage.
The Last Dinner Party heading to Dundee
Lizzie Mayland and Aurora Nishevci, members of BRIT Award-winning indie rock band The Last Dinner Party, will perform a special DJ set at the event.
The band has become known for its theatrical performances, distinctive fashion and music influenced by artists including David Bowie.
Last year, The Last Dinner Party also guest-curated a display for the opening of the David Bowie Centre at V&A Storehouse in London, exploring how the legendary musician continues to inspire new generations of artists.
Their appearance at V&A Dundee will bring that connection between Bowie, music and fashion to the museum’s After Hours programme.
Lucia & The Best Boys return to V&A Dundee
Joining them will be Scottish songwriter and model Lucia Fairfull, who will perform with her band Lucia & The Best Boys.
Lucia is also a V&A Dundee Ambassador and was the face of the marketing campaign for Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show, which opened earlier this year.
The performance follows a series of major autumn shows for the band, including appearances at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, Manchester’s Band on the Wall and London’s Islington Assembly Hall.
Their return to V&A Dundee will see the band deliver a special performance created for the evening.
A museum transformed after dark
For one night, V&A Dundee will become a late-night venue, offering visitors a different way to experience the museum.
Alongside the music, guests can enjoy karaoke, installations, pop-up bars and access to the museum’s major exhibitions.
Entry to Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show will be included free with an After Hours ticket, while visitors will also have the opportunity to explore David Bowie: On Tour.
Access to the Bowie exhibition will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the evening.
The event will celebrate the influence of music and fashion on contemporary designers and performers, with David Bowie’s creative legacy providing a major source of inspiration.
When is After Hours: We Can Be Heroes?
After Hours: We Can Be Heroes takes place at V&A Dundee on Friday 6 November 2026, running from 7.30pm until 11pm.
