St Andrews cafe Dook to open new outlet at Dundee's waterfront pavilion
Exciting news for Dundee’s Waterfront as a popular St Andrews café is set to take over the former Jannettas pavilion at Slessor Gardens!
As reported by The Courier, Dook, a café known for its generously filled sandwiches, coffee and freshly baked treats, is behind plans to bring the vacant pavilion back into use.
The building has been empty since Jannettas closed its Dundee premises in November 2025, leaving a prominent spot beside Slessor Gardens without an operator.
It’s encouraging to see plans for another business at the Waterfront, particularly in a location enjoyed by thousands of residents and visitors throughout the year.
