Loads O’ Lorries is rolling into Dundee Museum of Transport today, bringing a huge display of trucks and haulage vehicles to the city for one of the museum’s biggest family events of the season so far.
The popular event is transforming the Market Mews attraction into a showcase of vintage and modern lorries, with visitors able to explore everything from classic haulage motors to giant modern trucks up close.
Vehicle owners from across the region are gathering at the museum to display their pride and joy, giving visitors the chance to speak directly to the people behind the wheel and learn more about Scotland’s transport history.
Families attending the event can expect a wide variety of vehicles on display throughout the day, with the museum saying the event is designed to celebrate the important role lorries and transport have played in everyday life across Dundee and beyond.
Loads O’ Lorries has become one of the museum’s standout seasonal events, attracting transport enthusiasts, photographers and families looking for something different to enjoy across the weekend.
Alongside the outdoor vehicle displays, visitors can also explore the Dundee Museum of Transport itself, including its collection of classic vehicles, exhibitions and interactive displays inside the attraction.
The event takes place today from 10am until 4.30pm at Dundee Museum of Transport in Market Mews and is included with standard museum admission.
