Ice Dundee star Anastasia Vaipan-Law has announced her retirement from competitive figure skating, bringing the curtain down on an outstanding career that saw her become one of Britain’s most successful pairs skaters.
Training with Ice Dundee throughout her career, Anastasia established herself as one of the country’s leading athletes alongside skating partner Luke Digby.
Together, they dominated British pairs skating, winning an incredible five consecutive British championship titles and becoming one of the most recognisable partnerships in the sport.
Earlier this year, the pair proudly represented Team GB on the world stage at the Winter Olympics, delivering an extraordinary short program performance that captivated audiences and marked another milestone in an already remarkable career.
Their performances not only showcased their talent and dedication but also retained Dundee firmly on the international figure skating map.
Luke announced his own retirement earlier this year, meaning both members of one of Britain’s most successful modern pairs partnerships have now stepped away from competitive skating.
Beyond medals and titles, Anastasia and Luke have inspired countless young skaters through their achievements, demonstrating that athletes training in Dundee can compete alongside the very best in the world.
Their success has helped raise the profile of British pairs skating and encouraged a new generation to take to the ice.
