Two of Dundee’s brightest sporting talents have earned their place on one of the world’s biggest stages, after Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby were officially selected to represent Team GB at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.

The pair, who train at the Dundee Ice Arena for Ice Dundee, will compete in both the Team Event and the individual event, marking a landmark moment for Scottish figure skating.

Their selection comes after a remarkable season that saw the duo continue to rise through the international ranks.

Known for their strong technical ability and expressive performances, Vaipan-Law and Digby have built a reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting pairs, consistently earning praise for their progress and determination on the ice.

The pair recently won their fifth consecutive senior British title.

Competing in both the Team Event and their own individual discipline gives the Dundee pair a rare opportunity to showcase their skills twice on the world stage.

For Ice Dundee, it is another milestone in what has been a transformative decade for the rink, which has become a leading training centre for Olympic-level athletes.

Dundonian Natasha Mackay, now retired, had represented Team GB at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The 2026 Winter Olympics, hosted in Italy, will bring together the very best athletes from across the globe, and the inclusion of Vaipan-Law and Digby puts Dundee firmly in the international spotlight.
