Here are the cruises coming to Dundee in 2026

Dundee’s waterfront will once again welcome cruise ships from across the world in 2026, with several sailings scheduled to arrive and depart from the Port of Dundee during the summer months.

Cruise tourism has grown steadily in recent years, with Dundee becoming an increasingly attractive stop for ships exploring Scotland and Northern Europe.

With the V&A Dundee, RRS Discovery and the wider waterfront all within walking distance of the port, the city offers visitors an easy gateway to experience Scotland’s history, culture and landscapes.

Here are the cruise visits currently scheduled for Dundee in 2026.

Ambition – 1 July 2026

Arrival: 03:45 / Departure: 15:45

The Ambassador Cruise Line ship Ambition will arrive early in the morning before departing later that afternoon. The visit forms part of a longer Northern European itinerary including destinations across Scandinavia and the continent. The ship can carry around 1,200 passengers.

Ambition – 13 July 2026

Arrival: 01:45

Ambition returns to Dundee in the early hours of 13 July to begin a short cruise to Norway, bringing another wave of visitors and cruise activity to the city.

Ambition – 14 July 2026

Departure: 01:15

Shortly after midnight, the ship will depart Dundee as passengers begin a four-night cruise exploring Norway’s dramatic fjords and coastal towns.

Ambition – 17 July 2026

Arrival: 05:00 / Departure: 17:00

The Norway cruise returns to Dundee on 17 July. The ship will remain docked during the day before setting sail again in the evening.

Cruise activity continues into August with Ambition scheduled to depart Dundee again in the evening.
