Pop superstar Justin Bieber has filmed his new music video for Bad Honey at Abandon Ship on Dundee’s Whitehall Crescent.

The Canadian singer, who has been in Scotland to play golf at St Andrews, made an unannounced visit to Dundee earlier this week to shoot scenes for his latest single.

The interior of the bar, known for its bold artwork and neon signage, provided the perfect setting for the video’s creative direction.

Bad Honey features on Bieber’s seventh album, SWAG.

The video showcases Dundee’s vibrant nightlife, giving international audiences a glimpse of one of the city’s most distinctive venues.

Abandon Ship has gained national attention for its unique design and independent spirit since opening in 2021, and its appearance in Bieber’s project is likely to bring further recognition to the bar and the city.
