Health and beauty retailer Superdrug has opened a brand new store at Dundee’s Gallagher Retail Park, marking a further expansion of its presence in Scotland.
The new shop officially opened its doors on 24 April 2026, bringing a fresh retail offering to East Dock Street.
The store spans 6,000 square feet and has created 12 permanent jobs, providing a boost to local employment.
It forms part of Superdrug’s wider growth plans, with the company aiming to open 30 new stores across the UK during 2026.
Inside, customers can expect a wide range of health and beauty products, including everyday toiletries, cosmetics, and luxury fragrances.
The expanded space allows for a larger selection than many existing branches, with popular ranges such as Studio London, B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E, and Optimum all available.
A key feature of the new location is its dedicated Beauty Studio area, designed to offer professional treatments at accessible prices.
Services include eyebrow shaping, nail treatments, acrylic nails, and piercings, positioning the store as a one-stop destination for beauty services as well as retail.
Superdrug says the new store is designed to enhance the shopping experience, with a premium fragrance counter and a broader mix of exclusive beauty and personal care brands.
The company hopes the combination of products and services will appeal to a wide range of customers across Dundee and beyond.
Clare Jennings, Property Director at Superdrug, said the company is pleased to strengthen its presence in the city. She added that the new store will not only improve access to products and services but also support the local economy through job creation.
The store is located at Unit 5, Dundee Gallagher Retail Park on East Dock Street. It is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
