Dundee’s nightlife is gearing up for a fresh addition as SUBTERRA, the event brand and record label run by local DJ duo KIMMIC, takes over Saturday nights at AURA.
The residency will focus on building line-ups that bring together Dundee’s most exciting new DJs. Alongside the local talent, the series will also feature monthly appearances from special guests, ensuring variety and big-name appeal throughout the run.
The launch party this Saturday is already generating buzz, with UK producer Levi Heron announced as the first headliner.
Heron rose to prominence earlier this year with his track The Glen, which climbed into the UK Top 5 and became one of the biggest viral hits of the summer. His appearance in Dundee marks a strong opening statement for the new club night.
SUBTERRA has already established itself as a platform for emerging talent, and this new weekly series looks set to cement its reputation further.
By combining breakthrough acts with headline guests, the brand is aiming to create a space where Dundee’s music community can thrive while also drawing in fresh influences from across the UK.
AURA’s central location and reputation as one of the city’s busiest student nightclubs make it an ideal base for the project.
With its debut weekend bringing in a chart-topping guest and a strong focus on grassroots talent, SUBTERRA’s move into weekly nights signals a new chapter for Dundee’s growing electronic music scene.
