Dundee’s last 6pm sunset this year is next week

Dundee is about to experience its final 6pm sunset of the year, marking a seasonal turning point as the evenings continue to draw in.
According to time and date data, the city’s last 6pm sunset of 2025 will take place on Friday, 18 October. After that, daylight will fade earlier each evening as the clocks edge closer to the end of British Summer Time.
The next time Dundee will see the sun set at 6pm again won’t be until 8 March 2026, as daylight gradually returns in the spring months.
