Dundee’s City Square is set to transform into a festive hub this December as Christmas in the Square returns for a month of seasonal celebrations.
Organised by Horne’s Pleasure Fairs, this year’s offerings will run from 4 to 31 December, and the event will offer a mix of rides, shopping and food stalls, creating a lively centrepiece for the city’s winter festivities.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of attractions, including a selection of funfair rides designed for both thrill seekers and younger families.
The line up is set to include the Freak Out, Ferris Wheel, Helter Skelter, Race-A-Rama, Tea Cups, Candy Cane Bungees, Bumper Carz and the Festive Funhouse.
With City Square lit up in festive colours, the rides will bring plenty of energy to the heart of Dundee throughout the month.
Food and drink will also be a major highlight, with stalls offering everything from classic winter treats to international flavours.
A Bavarian style selection will be available at the Swing Grill, serving bratwurst and other favourites, alongside fresh churros, warm crepes, Alpine cheeses and chocolate kisses.
A cosy Alpine Bar will give visitors a chance to pause for a drink, making it an ideal spot to warm up on a chilly December evening.
Christmas shopping is set to play a big part in the event too, with a range of stalls selling handcrafted gifts, festive decorations and unique pieces from local makers.
The market is expected to draw shoppers looking for something special to wrap up for the holidays.
Organisers say the aim is to bring festive magic directly into the centre of Dundee, creating an experience where families, friends and visitors can enjoy the atmosphere together.
